Caitlin Atkinson joined Barbieri Law Firm as a Receptionist/Legal Assistant in 2020. Prior to this role, she taught US History as an Associate Professor at local colleges for almost 10 years. Caitlin has always had a passion for United States History and particularly how the law has been shaped over time by impactful events. Regardless of the role she is in, Caitlin is a team player and as determined and hardworking as she is generous and kind-hearted.
One of her passions and core values is helping others. While still in graduate school, she founded and directed an annual fundraiser that awarded scholarships to local military members and first responders. This passion was a driving force that fueled her desire to pursue her lifelong dream of joining the world of criminal defense in 2019.
As Barbieri Law Firm’s Business Development Specialist, Caitlin identifies and develops new ways to support clients as well as looking for strategic opportunities for the firm to get involved and give back to the community. She cares deeply about our clients and is dedicated to providing highly impactful professional customer experiences. Her role, in turn, helps allow the attorneys and legal staff to better focus on clients’ legal matters to provide them with the best legal services possible.
Her multifaceted background has made Caitlin a strong, confident, and creative leader. She thrives on continuously learning, adapting, and innovating, and Caitlin’s main objective is to deliver the firm’s goal of providing a first-rate client experience.
Originally from Canada, Caitlin has called Texas her home for 28 years. She lives in Allen with her husband, two daughters, and two tiny dogs.
