As the Director of Business Development, Conor Kerrigan represents the first line of communication between our clients and partners alike. Conor brings over 16 years of combined senior level sales and law enforcement experience, with a focus in training and development, creative approaches to maximize the overall client experience, and a dedication to growing business capacity.
Prior to joining Barbieri Law Firm, Conor began his sales career in merchant and financial services and quickly climbed the ranks to a Senior Sales Executive role where he designed new hire training platforms, employee development initiatives, and performance metrics for the entire sales department. After making a move to healthcare staffing, Conor quickly achieved Senior Account Executive status by leading his own strategic approach to nationwide full-desk sales and recruiting. Here Conor developed his passion for helping those who help others and turned untapped regions into leading markets for his organization. Eventually, Conor made the decision to join law enforcement in Chicago, IL. As an officer at the largest single-site jail in the country, he received extensive training and experience in mental health and crisis intervention. After sustaining a career ending injury, Conor transitioned back into high-volume staffing as a Business Development Manager with a privately held firm. Here, Conor refined his practice of sales leadership, workforce planning and management, client and employee engagement, and strategic business growth.
Conor brings a unique set of skills and strengths to Barbieri Law Firm. His background in business development has emphasized his ability to conduct in-depth discovery which identifies the appropriate and most effective course of action. Communication, accountability, and empathy are critical skills that make Conor someone our clients can trust to build a dedicated and individualized level of service. Additionally, his experience working in law enforcement provides a distinct understanding of our clients’ circumstances. Conor prides himself on his objective and structured approach to learning your specific needs and developing a clear expectation of our next steps together.
Conor completed his Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice at Kaplan University in 2015. In 2023, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue University Global. Conor’s diverse educational background paired with an eclectic and extensive professional experience encompasses and drives growth at Barbieri Law Firm.
Conor firmly believes that business development occurs from both the inside-out, and outside-in, and that strengthening our leaders bolsters the effectiveness and direction of our organization. He also believes that none of this happens without accountability to our clients, so earning their trust is the first step in his process.
Conor’s family and faith are everything to him. They both act as his guiding light in this life. Conor is an avid sports fan (baseball, hockey, football, soccer) and finds peace in the kitchen baking bread and cooking for his family, or making an obscene amount of noise behind his drum set. His future vision for Barbieri Law Firm involves aggressive growth in both local and national markets.
