D.J. is a dedicated and highly motivated legal professional who has been in the legal field for 30 years and is truly amazing at solving problems and getting things done. She is extremely organized and loves to work in the spirited team environment that is the Barbieri Law Firm. She graduated in 1992 with an Associate Degree in Paralegal and Legal Assistant Studies. Since starting her professional legal career, D.J. has seen both sides (plaintiff and defense) having worked for law firms as a receptionist, legal secretary, paralegal, and as a clerk at the courthouse. While D.J. has been trained in various areas of law, she is dedicated to criminal defense and considers it her “home” area of practice. She has also experience in the legal justice systems in other large states having worked as a legal professional in Florida, California, and Illinois.
When she is not at work, D.J. likes to spend time with her family and attending her daughter’s soccer games. She also likes to volunteer at her daughter’s school and at her family’s church. Her church and its community are also very important to her. She is a hockey fan, and her favorite player is the legendary hall of fame goalie, Martin Brodeur.
