Heather Barbieri

Founding Attorney

Heather Barbieri is a Board-Certified criminal defense lawyer (Texas Board of Legal Specialization, since 2005) with over 25 years of experience defending serious, complex cases, including sexual assault, false allegations, and internet sex-crime matters.

Known for creative strategy and tireless client advocacy, Heather leads a collaborative senior trial team that applies a 115-point defense checklist that leaves no stone unturned. Heather has gone 20 years without losing an assault jury trial, and her work has earned recognition on Texas Super Lawyers® (2013–present), D Magazine's Best Lawyers in Dallas, and Texas Monthly's Top Women Lawyers in Texas, among many others.

A former President of TCDLA, Faculty Member for the Trial Lawyers College, and a fierce advocate for spreading "good lawyering" to the next generation, Heather continues to inspire and mentor attorneys across Texas and beyond. Through her teaching, leadership, and unwavering dedication to justice, she exemplifies the principles she strives to instill in others.
