1. No legal advice and no attorney-client relationship

An attorney-client relationship is formed only when both you and the firm have signed a written engagement agreement. Submitting a contact form, requesting a consultation, using a calculator or chat feature, sending an email, placing a call, or exchanging text messages with us does not by itself create that relationship, and does not obligate the firm to represent you.

Opting in
When you opt-in to the service, we may send you a message to confirm your signup. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Text “HELP” for help. Text “STOP” to cancel.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and is not a condition of engaging Barbieri Law Firm to represent you. You may decline to receive text messages and still contact us by telephone, email, or web form.
Cancelling the service
You can cancel this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the number from which you received our message. After you send the message “STOP” to us, we will reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending you messages again.
Getting help
If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text “HELP” to the number from which you received our message. After you send the message “HELP” to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service and how to unsubscribe.
Important limitations
The Text Message Service is not a substitute for legal advice, and exchanging text messages with us does not create an attorney-client relationship. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

You agree that any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue in them.
14. Jurisdiction and unsolicited contact
Barbieri Law Firm’s attorneys are licensed to practice in the jurisdictions identified on the Website, and the firm does not seek to represent anyone in a jurisdiction where the Website or any communication from the firm would not comply with applicable laws or rules of professional conduct. The Website is directed to users in the United States.
15. General provisions
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
