Heather Barbieri
Heather Barbieri founded Barbieri Law Firm and leads its trial team. Board certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2005, she brings more than 25 years of experience defending serious and complex cases, including sexual assault, false allegations and internet sex crime matters.
Heather leads the senior trial team through the firm’s 115-point defense checklist. A former President of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, she continues to teach and mentor defense attorneys across Texas.
Carrie Thomas
Carrie Thomas manages the firm’s attorneys and caseload. Before joining Barbieri Law Firm, she spent eight years as a prosecutor with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, working in the Felony, Domestic Violence, Crimes Against Children and Child Exploitation divisions and handling hundreds of cases.
A graduate of the Southern Methodist University law school, Carrie brings an inside view of how the State builds its cases to every defense she leads.
Didi Louzon
Didi Louzon leads the client experience at Barbieri Law Firm. She oversees intake operations, client communication systems and service standards, so clients feel supported and informed from the first call through the resolution of their case, and the attorneys can stay focused on the legal work.
She brings more than 15 years of sales, client relationship and management experience to the role.
Taylor Brayton
Taylor Brayton manages client cases alongside the firm’s attorneys and oversees much of the office’s daily operations, including office administration, workflow organization and internal communication.
Her focus is making sure every client feels safe, informed and supported through what is often the most difficult moment of their life.
Laura Chumah
Laura Chumah leads the firm’s marketing strategy, overseeing brand positioning, digital advertising, website strategy, content, events and community partnerships. She has been instrumental in modernizing the Barbieri Law Firm brand and expanding its visibility across Texas.
Her career spans global technology, manufacturing, recreation and the arts, including marketing programs at Amazon Web Services.
